Western Technology

Western Technology’s Explosion Proof Lights, also known as Hazardous Location Lighting or Intrinsically Safe Lights are NRTL certified for UL and OSHA Safety Standards compliant for use in areas where flammable petrochemical vapor or potential pulverized dust exist. Explosion Proof Lights are Class 1, Div 1 & 2 or Class 2, Division 1 and 2 are rated for use in hazardous areas. Suggested industries include offshore lights, rig lights, aircrafts and paint spray booth lights. Class 1 lights are perfect for confined spaces and are typically used for cleaning vessels or fuel cells, plant turn-around, marine work areas, aircrafts, painting booths, shutdown lights etc. Class 2 rated lights are typically used for hazardous areas that have grain, sugar, or munitions.

Acculux

Acculux are the manufactures for handlamps and torches for hazardous & safe area application. They are pioneers in rechargeable lamp. AccuLux set standards for environmentally friendly light as early as 1955. They received a gold medal for Original 70 model at the 1958 World Exhibition in Brussels. Over 100 patents have been registered for them in the more than 70-year history of the company. In 2000 they have developed high-tech work lights with an emergency light function for the first time.
