One of the most popular choices of lighting equipment for industrial usage is the SPARTAN range of lights manufactured by Raytec. Through its SPARTAN solutions, Raytec provides a 360-degree solution for all kinds of industrial lighting needs, especially in hazardous environments.

In this guide, we will take a look at some of the most popular SPARTAN lighting solutions preferred by industries across the world.

SPARTAN Linear Lights

The SPARTAN linear lighting range is extensive and suitable for installation in all kinds of hazardous areas. They are available in standard and emergency variants and are approved for usage in hazardous environments. Fitted with long-life LED technology housed in marine grade platinum, these lights are suitable for usage in Zone 1 and Zone 2 areas. They are available in a range of sizes – 2 feet, 4 feet, 5 feet and so on.

The entire structure of these linear lights is compatible with the commonly used traditional ex fluorescent luminaires. This enables easy upgradation of traditional luminaires with these LED lights, without having to incur unnecessary costs in changing the electrical infrastructure.

SPARTAN standard variant linear lights have a unique modular design, which enables them to be converted into the emergency variant, should such a need arise. The emergency variant has a battery self-checking feature which eases the hassles of emergency lighting maintenance – a part of the smart technology of these lights.
