Lanyard is AJV Technical Equipment’s range of CableSafe tethering equipment, supplied across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait to stop tools, equipment and fixtures from falling to the work floor below.

The Secondary Retention-Lanyard is a stainless steel (AISI316) security cable, Ø 4 mm, with a breaking load of 1,077 kg (2,374 lbs) and a safe working load of 215 kg (473 lbs), SGS certified. It secures and encloses overhead fixtures such as lights, cameras and speakers so they stay tethered to the structure if the primary attachment or installation bracket fails, and carries a 3-year warranty for onshore and offshore use.

The DOPSN-Lanyard 2.5M is an ABS-certified safety lanyard fitted with a carabiner hook, used to tether hand tools and small equipment to a worker’s tool belt, harness or an approved anchor point while working at height. It is designed for offshore, oil & gas, industrial, construction and shutdown work where a dropped tool is a fall hazard.

AJV Tech supplies both lanyard types to prevent dropped objects on offshore platforms, refineries and construction sites across the GCC, with certification documentation available for technical submittals.
