The new Raytec SPARTAN HPFL Zone 2 LED floodlight delivers powerful illumination for large spaces and structures in hazardous environments. Available in HPFL100, HPFL200 and HPFL300 models, the range provides outputs up to 38,640 lumens, with twelve beam options to suit different mounting heights and lighting requirements.

Suitable applications include offshore rigs, FPSOs, refineries, tank farms, petrochemical facilities and industrial loading areas. AJV supplies the range across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait and India, with technical guidance and detailed lighting design support.

ATEX and IECEx Certification

The standard SPARTAN HPFL SPZ models are certified for Zone 2 gas and Zone 22 dust environments, with IIC gas-group protection. A separate variant is available for applications requiring Zone 21 dust certification.

Zone 21 dust certification requires the appropriate variant; it does not apply to the standard Zone 2/22 model.

Built for Offshore and Industrial Environments

The marine-grade aluminium enclosure features Raytec’s CX Shield protective coating, with corrosion classification CX according to ISO 12944-9:2018. Marine-grade stainless steel brackets and external fasteners provide additional durability in corrosive environments.

All three models feature IP66/IP67 ingress protection, IK09 impact resistance and a weight of 18.5 kg. Modular construction and front-access wiring terminals simplify installation and allow key components to be replaced independently.
