The new Raytec SPARTAN HPFL is an ATEX and IECEx-certified LED floodlight for Zone 1/21 hazardous areas. Available in HPFL100, HPFL200 and HPFL300 models, it delivers up to 34,560 lumens, with ten beam options for precise illumination. Its marine-grade aluminium construction, CX corrosion protection and IP66/IP67 rating make it suitable for demanding offshore and industrial environments.

Product description

High-performance lighting for hazardous areas

The Raytec SPARTAN HPFL Zone 1 LED floodlight provides powerful illumination for large outdoor areas, elevated structures and industrial workspaces where explosive gases or combustible dust may be present. Typical applications include offshore rigs, FPSOs, refineries, tank farms, petrochemical facilities and loading areas.

The redesigned range features IIC gas-group certification, modular construction and front-access wiring terminals to simplify installation and maintenance. Independently replaceable components help reduce servicing time and support long-term operation.

Built for offshore conditions and high ambient temperatures

The enclosure combines marine-grade aluminium with Raytec’s CX Shield protective coating, rated to corrosion class CX under ISO 12944-9:2018. Marine-grade stainless steel brackets and external fasteners provide additional durability in corrosive environments.

All three models feature IP66/IP67 ingress protection and IK09 impact resistance. Maximum operating temperatures vary by model: +70°C for HPFL100, +65°C for HPFL200 and +60°C for HPFL300.

Optics matched to your application

Ten symmetrical and asymmetrical beam options allow light to be directed towards the required working area. AJV can assist with model selection, beam selection and detailed lighting design based on mounting height, required illumination and site conditions.

AJV supplies Raytec hazardous-area lighting for projects across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait and India.
