Recess is AJV Technical Equipment’s range of Raytec recessed LED luminaires, covering both non-hazardous industrial ceilings and Zone 1/Zone 2 hazardous areas, supplied across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait.

Recessed luminaires mount flush into ceilings or structures, providing low-profile illumination where surface- or suspended-mounted fixtures aren’t suitable — such as corridors, walkways, and confined overhead clearances in refineries, petrochemical plants, and offshore facilities.

WARRIOR Recess (Industrial) is Raytec’s heavy-industrial recessed luminaire for non-hazardous areas, available as Recess Plank and Recess Modular. Recess Plank uses a lightweight design — 50% lighter than equivalent products — for easier installation, while Recess Modular is available in 600×600, 300×1200 and 600×1200 formats, with standard variants offering DALI 2.0 dimming and EMX variants adding up to 3 hours of self-testing intelligent emergency backup.

SPARTAN Recess (Zone 1 & Zone 2) is Raytec’s ATEX, IECEx and UKEX certified recessed luminaire for Zone 1/21 and Zone 2/22 gas-classified hazardous areas, also available as Recess Plank and Recess Modular (SPX). Recess Modular shares the same 600×600, 300×1200 and 600×1200 formats and DALI 2.0/EMX emergency backup options as the industrial range, built for oil & gas, offshore, marine and petrochemical environments.

AJV Tech supplies both the WARRIOR and SPARTAN Recess ranges with full documentation, including ATEX, IECEx and UKEX certificates where applicable, for ADNOC, Saudi Aramco and other regional operator project submittals.
